SANREMO

This is a city of two souls. On one side, immersed in the greenery of the Argentina Valley, is Taggia, a village of history and ancient carruggi (narrow alleys); on the other side, lower down, you can find Arma, the seaside heart of the town. For a wonderful holiday full of culture, diving and… olives.

SANTO STEFANO AL MARE

Known as the &#8220;queen of palm trees&#8221;, Bordighera is one of the most loved seaside destinations by foreigners — and beyond. Dotted with elegant villas and exotic parks, this city has also been the protagonist of several paintings by Monet, who made the Riviera his second home.

Between the 19th and 20th centuries, Ospedaletti was a social destination for the international elite who met at Villa Sultana, where Italy&#8217;s first casino was inaugurated. Among the very first tourists to fall in love with this place was the British writer, Mary Shelley.

OSPEDALETTI

You just have to stroll through the streets of Badalucco to enjoy this open-air museum, made up of facades decorated with ancient designs and motifs. But it is also an old village where the undisputed star is the extra virgin olive oil, among oil mills, shops and dedicated museums.

MONTALTO LIGURE

“The place is superb, there is a bridge that is a jewel of lightness” said Monet in reference to Dolceacqua, a village in the hinterland of Val Nervia that the French painter visited in 1884. From that trip, which was more like love at first sight for the Riviera, the artist immortalized the town in three different paintings.

Located on the coast of the Riviera di Ponente, Diano Marina is a picturesque destination poised between the sea and the verdant cultivations of basil, flowers and olives. A real natural pearl, which embodies the typical panorama of the region.

Cervo Ligure or “paese delle 100 vedove” (town of 100 widows) is among the most beautiful, colorful and picturesque villages in Italy. Its nickname comes from a past disastrous shipwreck which cost the lives of many sailors during the coral harvest. A destination of history, art and folklore.

Triora is a small town perched at an altitude of 800 meters, where every corner is imbued with ancient legends and mysteries. In 1500 it was the protagonist of a sad episode aimed at women accused of witchcraft, which is why this locality is still known today as the “borgo delle streghe” (witch village).

TRIORA

52km from The Mall Sanremo
Fine sand, crystal clear water and relaxed atmosphere. Alassio is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Liguria, better known as the “città degli innamorati” (city of lovers) for the famous low wall signed by couples and celebrities. The idea came from Mario Berrino, owner of Caffè Roma, who in 1953 decided with his friend Ernest Hemingway to give it new life.
